About Us

Our adoption center is unique in its "free range" approach. Within each of the rooms, cats have beds, hidden litter boxes and cat trees that allow them to climb and play. Free range kitties tend to be more social, better with other animals and overall more well adjusted. We currently care for around 50 cats.

Mission Statement

Project Purr was established to rescue, foster and adopt out cats and kittens that are in inappropriate situations or in danger of being euthanized. We support spay and neuter and no-kill of healthy and treatable animals. We concentrate on rescuing cats and kittens that are healthy but homeless from our local shelters to give them a second chance at life. Our focus is to give them the love and attention they deserve, providing a safe and healthy environment while they wait for their forever families.
